This fantastic product has impressed us all at 'Regal'.  It eliminates all urine smells and lifts stains. It comes in a 500ml trigger spray bottle. Fly strike is particularly nasty condition that can affect rabbits with damp or dirty fur. Green Bottles lay their eggs in the fur, where they hatch into larvae and migrate down into the skin. Following their moult the larvae then start to eat their way into the body tissue. Not only does this cause distress and discomfort to the rabbit, it can also cause blood-poisoning, which can in some cases be fatal. Beaphar Fly Guard is an Veterinary preparation containing an insect growth regulator which gives protection against fly strike for up to 3 months. One 75ml bottle is sufficient to treat up to 5 rabbits.

We cannot stress how important this product is, an absolute must in any rabbit medicine cabinet.

You can litter train a rabbit if it lives inside or out.  They are very clean animals and generaly toilet in the same place.   By keeping the hutch as clean as possible and placing the litter tray where they toilet (this could take a few attempts with a new bunny).  It significantly reduces cleaning out time and helps to keep the hutch clean and dry.  The trick is to keep the tray clean (but not to clean), they will soon be litter trained.  Better for everybody.
